The Frosted Stitch Bifrost Bulky, Malabrigo Rios, Lion Brand Hue + Me
Yarn yardage and weight:
80 (106, 145) yds / 73 (97, 133) m bulky weight, category 5 yarn; Sample is size M knit in The Frosted Stitch Bifrost Bulky, 100% SW Merino, 106yds / 97 m, 3.5 oz / 100 g.
Note: Size 2 will require the full skein. Alterations to gauge or pattern may require a second skein.
Gauge:
16 stitches and 26 rows over 4 in / 10 cm, in broken rib pattern worked in the round, blocked, but not stretched.
Needles and Notions:
US8, (5mm) needles, for your favorite method of working in the round with various circumferences.
3 stitch markers for marking beginning of round and increases
Scrap yarn
Darning needle
Size:
1 (2, 3) to fit hand 6.5 (8, 9.5) in / 16.5 (20, 24) cm circumference with 0.5 in / 1.5 cm negative ease.
The mitt may appear quite small but the broken rib fabric will stretch considerably.
