June 23rd, 2010: This pattern has not been test knitted so please e-mail me any questions, typos, or errors.
I missed having my Alice Mittens pattern, so I made up a new design using three strands of yarn and knitted the mittens flat. I Would like to try this mitten with sport weight yarns versus Peaches and Creme worsted weight cotton yarns. I think it would result in a less dense final product and cotton just has a different feel than wool.
Colors used were light blue, dark blue(navy), and Camel (the Camel I used was a little too light).
Color Suggestions for the three yarns to re-create Alice’s
- A light/medium sky yarn
- A dark denium blue, dark teal blue, or dark blue/green
- A brown/grey color.
