This valance will cheer up any window with it’s whimsical combination of daisies and checkerboard pattern. It was created using cream crochet thread and worked from the top down. A repeat is included in the pattern to increase the width of the valance to fit your window. A detailed chart is also included for reference. Skill Level: Intermediate.
Finished Size:
15” long (from top of rod pocket)
63-1/2” wide
Pattern repeat = 5-3/4” wide
Gauge:
Working in filet pattern:
13 blocks/spaces = 4-1/2”
13 rows = 4”
Additional Materials:
1/4 yard of coordinating material, sewing needle, and matching thread are needed to make the rod pocket.
Approximately 1400 yards are needed to complete the valance, with an extra 115 yards needed for each additional pattern repeat.
