Bundled Up
In the pursuit of simplicity, this scarf is just a long tube with the unused colors carried up the inside. The resulting scarf is so soft and cozy, I never want to take it off.
This chart would make a great first stranded project.

My dyer friend Neil Paice of Woo Sheeps retired in the last year, so this special yarn is no longer available. Look for the nicest fingering weight yarn you can find, and pick 5 colors that play well together.
If you experiment with using more or fewer colors, I recommend that you try to use an odd number of colors, so that the diamond repetitions are a little more interesting.
I’ve listed Malabrigo Ultimate Sock as a good substitute for the original yarn, and there are pics of one suggested color combination.
You will need about 60 grams each of 5 different colors to make a reasonably long scarf. If you start with 5 100-gram skeins, you can make a fun hat to go with your scarf with the leftovers.
