Bunny in a Hoodie
With this crochet pattern you can make your very own long-legged bunny in a hoodie. The pattern is beginner-friendly and covers the whole process from start to finish, illustrated with lots of step-by-step photos. All you need to know are basic crochet stitches, everything else is explained in the pattern.
SIZE
25.5 cm (10”) from head to toe, 33 cm (13”) including ears, when crocheted with DK weight cotton yarn and a 2.50 mm hook.
DIFFICULTY
- Intermediate – includes some less common crochet techniques, color changes, and simple shaping.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Crocheting in spiral
- Crocheting in rows
- Chain, slip and single crochet stitch
- Increasing and decreasing
YOU WILL NEED
- DK / light worsted weight yarn. I used Rico ‘Ricorumi DK’, (100% cotton, 58 m (68 yd) / 25 g (0.88 oz)). You will need about 42 g of beige (054 ecru) and 20 g of green yarn (077 pea).
- 2.50 - 3.00 mm crochet hook (US size 2/C - 3/D).
- Polyester fiberfill, wool, etc. for stuffing.
- 9 mm (3/8”) safety eyes or buttons, beads, felt, etc.
- Dark brown cotton embroidery floss.
- Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.
