This is a stranded mitten pattern inspired by the blue and white dedham pottery with bunnies on it. The design is knitted in the round on double pointed or circular needles. An opening for the thumb is created with waste yarn. The pair pictured in the photos was knit from single ply handspun and fits a small women’s hand. The pattern would work well with sock or sport weight yarn. If you want a small mitten then use smaller needles and finer yarn if you want a larger mitten use larger needles and heavier yarn.
