Bunny Tracks Cowl
My French angora rabbits were the inspiration for this pattern. Knit in handspun 2-ply angora yarn, somewhere between aran and worsted weight, this is a truly luxurious cowl. The lacework on this cowl shows beautifully on larger needles than would normally be used for the yarn weight. Angora yarn produces a soft fuzzy halo that retains warmth despite the open airy lacework, and is incredibly soft against the skin.
The lace pattern used has easily remembered 6 stitch repeats over 12 rounds. For a wider or smaller cowl, increments of 6 stitches can be added or removed from your cast on stitch count. Increase the height of the cowl by knitting an extra 12-round repeat of the pattern.
The designer used 126 yards/66g handspun 100% angora yarn. Get angora spinning fiber here!
