Or rather my 2 patterns in one! Messy Bun? or No Messy Bun? Why not make both?

This hat is an easy one for beginners to make. I used Bernat Blanket yarn, Coastal Cottage, (less than a full 108 yard skein.) which is as soft as a cloud and incredibly warm. I like my hats to fit a bit loosely, otherwise they feel a bit like they’re squishing my head. So, this pattern reflects that, but the pattern is easily adjustable.
