Notes
The patchwork quilts of my great grandmother Burnett inspired
the colorwork motif for these slippers. Fat diamonds and pieced fabric, some new, some scraps from old garments, handstiched together to make something new and wonderful. There’s something so comforting about a quilt, and knit slippers on cool mornings are such cozy accessories, making the two a fine match.
