This is essentially a sampler squares crochet- along with one sample square pattern a week on the blog. All are free. they will vary in relief work or texture but all have to measure 15 by 15 cm when completed.
Some squares will be worked more than once to introduce some quieter areas and some symmetry in the final constructed seamed throw.
The current aim is 70 squares in total but there will not be 70 different designs . It is planned as 7 along the shorter side and 10 along the length. This will give a central line of squares with 3 on either side for design possibilities. It may therefore end up as 11 rows rather than 10.

there may or may not be a finishing border stitch pattern. This is as yet undecided. the squares are likely to be crocheted together with a relief ridge effect but this too has not yet been agreed.
