This is a pattern for a butterfly and headband photo prop. Can’t you just see the beautiful pictures these would make for your new little arrival :)

These would make a great shower gift for the new little one. The yarn is super soft and you wouldn’t have to worry about the baby being uncomfortable. Just pose the baby and put the butterfly on top and slip on the headband and your all set to go. The hardest part will be getting your camera ready, lol. This set works up pretty quickly and uses pretty basic crochet stitches.

You will use one ball of velvetspun yarn and a small amount of the accent colour. Other supplies needed are:
Chenille pipe cleaner
tapestry needle
6.5 mm hook
4 mm hook (flower center only)
stitch marker

Dimensions of the butterfly are 9” wide and 8 and 1/2” long.

Head band circumference is 14 inches but the pattern can be easily adjusted for a different size.
