Intarsia provides exciting creative opportunities. Larger blocks of color can be easily achieved without using classical stranding techniques. In the case of this pillow top, I incorporated both intarsia and duplicate stitch (for the delicate antenna) and finished the pillow with an attached I-cord bind off, resulting in a sophisticated, elegant accessory for many interiors.
