Butterfly Surprise Shawl
The Butterfly Surprise Shawl was inspired by my love for butterflies and how beautiful they look flying haphazardly through a field full of fresh, tall grass. Butterflies can fly by, hidden by foliage and lush green scenery. But if you look carefully, especially in the springtime, the butterflies are there, fluttering by, unaware of their own beauty. This shawl was created to capture the surprise moment when a butterfly appears seemingly out of nowhere, flying through the flowers and grass. The subtle texture changes amidst a lacy background creates beautiful, textured butterflies.
