Mittens on a String for the whole family! Best of all….the string is easily removed. Buttons on the end of the string fits a buttonhole on the ribbing of the mitten.
for baby/infant sizes, swithc to sports wt yarn and a smaller hook.
Skill Level: Easy
Supplies: 2oz. – 5oz. Caron Simply Soft, size F/5/3.75mm, G/6/4mm crochet hooks, yarn needle., 2-5/8” buttons.
Stitches Used: slst (slip stitch), ch (chain), sc (single crochet), scdec (decrease single crochet), dc (double crochet), dcdec (decrease double crochet).
Child’s X-Small -4” from bottom of ribbing to tip of mitt, Child’s Small Size-5” from bottom of ribbing to tip of mitt, 6” wrist,
Child’s Medium- 6 ½” from bottom of ribbing to tip of mitt, 6 ½” wrist,
Child’s Large-7” from bottom of ribbing to tip of mitt, 7” wrist, Adult Large-7 ½” wrist, 7 ½” from bottom of ribbing to bottom of mitt,
Adult X-Large-8” wrist, 8” from bottom of ribbing to bottom of mitt.
