The Buttoned Up Cowl is worked from side-to-side beginning and ending at the center back. The multi-color section is shaped with increases and decreases to create a wider section that is folded in half to the outside at the center front. Three buttons are used to hold the doubled layer in place. No buttonholes are worked. Instructions are given in both a chart form and written out line-by-line.

You will need:
Approx. 200 yds of each color, a little more of the yarn used for the lacy section to be safe.
3 ring markers
cable needle
3 x 3/4” buttons
