Pattern Description:

This Loom Knit Hat pattern features a single side cable set in a contrasting color band, ribbing, and finishes off with a tassel at the top of the hat. Sparkly yarn adds to the overall effect, adding style to this classic hat. This is a heavy weight hat when finished and will provide warmth and comfort for years to come. This can easily be made unisex by changing the yarn color.

Level: Confident Beginner and above. This is a perfect pattern for a beginner who would like to start learning cables since it only has a single cable.

Finished Measurements: Approx. 21” around, stretches to fit a range of sizes teen to adult. This hat can easily be made in any size and on any round loom with even peg #’s (see below).

Loom Needed: 48 peg, Medium gauge round loom, 5/8” peg spacing (plastic, example purple Knifty Knitter/ or CinDWood, MDF loom). Although this pattern is written for the 48 peg loom, this hat can be worked on any round loom/any size (with even peg #’s) all directions included.
