Cable Lapel Cardigan
by Jo Allport
Jacob sheep are famous for their horns and striking two-coloured coats of dark and light wool. They are believed to have come to the UK from the Middle East, possibly via Spain, and spotted Jacob sheep can be seen in Egyptian wall paintings dating back to 1800 BCE. Blacker Yarns’ Jacob 4 Ply is worsted-spun for a smooth handle and great definition. It is hardwearing, and the shades in this pretty cabled cardigan are natural, blended from the different shades of undyed fleece.
