Soft and squishy, this one-piece cabled cowl works up quickly and will keep you warm! Consider working the cables in a contrasting color for a bolder look or let the texture speak for itself. The simple construction allows you to save your time for crocheting- only two ends to weave in. Perfect for date night!
This pattern is written using standard US terminology and abbreviations. The cowl is worked in a single piece, you will only fasten off at the very end. First the main cable motif is worked edge to edge, then joined into a cowl with a border worked in the round. If desired, a contrasting color can be used for the cables using intarsia.
Stitches: sc, hdc, dc, post stitches
Techniques: crochet cables, working in the round, working in the ‘third loop’ of hdc
Additional Sizing & Yardage Information:
Approximately 18.5 inches in diameter by 8 inches tall when assembled as a finished cowl. You can easily adjust to be taller or larger in diameter.
If using the suggested yarn (Premier Puzzle) and matching gauge, this is a perfect one-skein project.
