I wanted to blend the density of cables with the airiness of lace to achieve a hat that would be warm but also elegant.
Size: Finished Measurements: 17” diameter & 7“ high
Fits 21”-22“ head (easily adjustable by adding more (or less) repeats)
Yarn: Anzula Cole
(70% Silk & 30% Camel; 180yds 165m/100g):
Mauve, 1 skein
Gauge: 18 sts (2 pattern repeats) x 28 rounds = 4” in pattern
Tools:
Size US6 (4.0 mm) 16” circular needle
Size US7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needle and DPNs
Cable Needle
Markers (m)
1 yd of ribbon, or as an alternative braid 3 strands of yarn
2 beads
Notes: Hat is worked in the round
