Cabourg Top
THIS PRODUCT IS AS DIGITAL PATTERN. IT IS NOT AN ALREADY KNITTED GARMENT, NO PATTERN REFUND WILL BE MADE.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Cabourg Top is worked from the top down on circular needles.
First, work the neckline back and forth in stockinette stitch with increases along the sides, then work the body, then the picot edge. Finally, make 3 i-cords: 1 for the neck and 2 for the body. You can make these i-cords with a French knitter or by hand.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.

Colors used to knit Cabourg Top in the pictures above:
Tomato n° 40
Arctic Blue n° 77
Circular or double pointed needles 3 mm
Circular needles 3.5 mm 60 & 80 cm
Extra circular needles 3 or 3.5 mm
Crochet hook 4 mm
French knitter: Prym 624181 Comfort Twist. Optional, but I highly recommend using the french knitter to make straps.
It’s very quick and the result is much prettier than hand-knitting. Instructions for hand knitting i-cord straps will also be given later on in the pattern.

GAUGE
Pre blocked gauge: 23 sts x 32.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, on needle size 3.5 mm.
Post blocked gauge: 22 sts x 34.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, on needle size 3.5 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Wash and block your swatch. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
Wash and block your swatch.
