Cactus Lace
Broomstick lace crochet, beautifully delicate in Luna yarn, is worked in pairs of rows without turning. Large loops are pulled up onto a knitting needle (size 19) on one row; the next row closes the loops in groups, creating shapes like the eyes of peacock feathers.
Besides the crochet hook and one knitting needle, you will need a 6-inch piece of cardboard for making fringe.
Pattern includes written instructions, technique photos, and symbol chart.
