Caesura Tuck is a summery, easy sleeveless top with a generous A-line shape and interesting textural details.
The Fingering Silk/Linen from DyeForYarn knits up to DK gauge, which translates to a quick knit.
Like any true Ziggurat Caesura Tuck is knitted from cast on to cast off in one big zig-zaggy sweep from beginning to end, except, here there is a caesura, a pause — a single cut of the yarn to make things just a bit easier, and less obsessive. It’s still all knitted in one piece with special attention to finishing and small details. As usual.
- Step-by-step instructions, sketches, and photos guide you from start to cast off, and through the special manoeuvres.
- Pretty garter stitch detailing
- A Tricosa Tuck or a simple gather for generous ease – the tuck is advanced knitting that calls for a pile of extra circulars, wherefore a simpler gather is also described in the pattern
- Optional bust darts
- Optional sneaky pocket for ice cream money
- The pattern is written and has helpful charts to keep track of rows and shaping.
