Description
When Maridee Dangcil of the Yarnover Truck asked me to design something for the Yarnover Truck Yarn Club, I was delighted! This is my second design for their club. And when I received the wonderful Apple Tree Knits SilkLin, I knew the piece had to be something special.

The new colorway is called Sex and the City, and it is just gorgeous. Sex and the City goes from creams to yellow creams to pinks to lavenders. And each stitch along the way feels like a tiny surprise as the colors slowly change. The yarn is yummy. Soft and drapey. Easy to crochet with and easy to block.

Caila is an asymmetric triangle which begins with a tiny number of stitches and gradually increases in length and width. Clusters worked sideways instead of up and down create interest to the piece. The wide, lacy edge compliments the main body and is worked at the end as a visual flourish.

Dimensions
After blocking, the piece measures 20’’ (51 cm) at the widest point with a 63” (160 cm) wingspan. You can block your finished wrap by pinning it dry and spraying it with water. Allow it to dry completely before removing the pins.

Pattern File
The pattern file is 4 pages in length and includes 5 photos. Two photos show the main body stitches and the edge stitches up close. Tables with stitch and row counts are also included.
