Cake Covers: Lace, Beaded Cable or Leaf Cover
Most yarn winders create balls that look like disks or “cakes.”
Place one into a hand-knit container made from one ball of sock yarn, to protect and tame it while in use. A quick way to try a new stitch pattern while making something fun and practical.
