The shawl begins with a lace pattern in a repeat of 3 sts. As the pattern grows, the lace panel widens, to double the number of stitches every 20 rows. The Oblique Lace panel is repeated between increases to give the shawl its half-circle shape. There is one knit stitch at the beginning and end of each row for stability.

This shawl was created exclusively for the Knitcircus Summer Gradient Yarn Club and will be released to my Ravelry store in November 2013.
