Afraid of cables? This pattern has none!! The mock cable look works up quick with simple stitches. A great texture look of cables without all the work. It has such a great stretch that is sizes perfectly for a toddler to child.
Supplies
Knitting Needles:
10 (US) / 6.0 mm Double Pointed Needles (DPN) or Circular Needles for Magic Loop
Stitch Marker
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Yarn:
Knit Picks Chroma Sandpiper OR
Vanna’s Choice Grey Marble
Yardage: approx. 45 yards
Measurements: Depth=6 inches, Height = 5 ½ inches
Abbreviations / Stitches
CO- cast on
k- knit
p- purl
yo- yarn over
k2tog- knit two stitches together
p2tog-purl two stitches together
Gauge in pattern repeat:
Flat and not stretched: 24 stitches x 20 rows = 4 inches x 4 inches
