This retro Camera Purse would make a super gift for budding photographers. The pattern incorporates knitted stripes and embroidery to add the decorations. The purse is closed with a zipper which is sewn in by hand.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the purse is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and a 14cm zipper.

SIZES
One size only - 14cm wide x 12cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, k2tog decrease, Swiss darning embroidery and seaming to finish.
