Camp At Sunset
This wrap is knit from end to end, starting with Midnight as the main color and moving into a series of colorwork repeats between colors, ending with Terra Cotta as the main color. After casting off, along the long edge, stitches are picked up to work 2 by 2 ribbing to prevent curling. Color changing: It is possible to just carry the yarn along the edge for the majority of this pattern, if you are someone who doesn’t like weaving in the ends at the end of a project. The carries can be nestled into the side edging. Or, you can cut the yarn (for longer stretches of carrying) and weave in the ends afterwards.
Please check your gauge carefully as this pattern is designed to use up nearly all of the yarn in the gradient set.
This is designed to be knit with the Sunset Gradient Kit Range Camp Targhee Yarn from Ranching Tradition Fiber, which comes in three weight options, fingering, DK, and Bulky. The design and sample shown are knit in the DK weight.
