Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.

A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The buyer may pay what they are able while still valuing the hard work invested to create this design. Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. Choose whichever price works best for you!

  • No Code – Full Price = $12.00 CAD
  • PK10 – 10% off = $10.80 CAD
  • PK20 – 20% off = $9.60 CAD
  • PK30 – 30% off = $8.40 CAD

I also offer a Buy 3, Get 1 Free discount! Add any 4 of my patterns to your cart, and use the code BUY3GET1 to get the 4th pattern free! Note: the free pattern will be the lowest priced pattern.

The Campfire Zip sweater is inspired by one of my old fleece zip-up pullovers that I wore camping all the time when I was younger. It has a zip-up neck and is worked top down raglan style. It has balloon sleeves, and the sleeves and bottom edge have a 1x1 ribbed hem. The sweater is designed to fall at a mid/longer crop sort of level, but can easily be customized to a longer length! The pattern will have options for waist shaping if desired. This is a #sizeinclusive pattern, and is designed for 5-8” of positive ease.

Sizes offered: 30.1 (33.8, 37.6, 41.4) {45.2, 48.9, 52.7} (56.5, 60.2, 64) {67.8, 71.6, 75.3}
these sizes reflect the FINISHED bust measurement
NOTE: sizes 30.1, 48.9, 56.5, 60.2, 64, 67.8, 71.6, and 75.3 are untested. If you would like to knit this pattern in any of these sizes, I would love to gift the pattern to you in exchange for notes and feedback about your size.

Needles required: 10 mm for body (16 inch and 40 inch cords), 8 mm for ribbing (40 inch cord for bottom hem ribbing, for sleeves you may be able to use 16 inch cord, or longer cord with magic loop method,or DPNs)
may need other size needles to meet gauge

Gauge: 8.5 sts = 4 inches 12 rows = 4 inches

Yarn required: any super bulky (6) weight yarn that you can get gauge with (I used Loops & Threads Rippling Wave - 103 yds per 200g ball)

Yardage required: 320 (360, 400, 465) {515, 585, 630} (695, 755, 810) {885, 945, 1005}
yardage is an approximation at this point, and is calculated using a mid crop length. I included more yardage than I actually used to account for people with longer arms and torsos to get the same sort of fit as my sample, so this yardage should be more than enough for the cropped fit. Please allow for a bit extra yardage if choosing to do a longer, non-cropped sweater

Extra bits required:
-a couple yards of a matching/similar colour yarn in a thinner yarn (to sew the zipper one). I used a dk yarn so it fit into a normal needle.
-an 18 cm zipper (can use a 21 cm as well, you will just need to adjust where you join the work to make sure there is enough room for the zipper to fit in!)
