Not so long ago it was Canada’s 150th Birthday! Full of love of all things Canadian I designed a Voyageur Toque! For anyone who wished to make and wear. So much was had by all.

I recently made it free for all!

Canada turned 150 last month - what a year this one is shaping up to be!

This pattern takes some fun Canadian symbols and incorporates them into a classic Voyageur Toque.

Symbols include - maple leaves, beaver, stripes and buffalo check - with a few numbers and letters thrown in as well!

There are instructions included for hemmed, corrugated ribbing and traditional ribbed starts as well as alternative shaping to create a more standard toque.

There is a pattern for co-ordinating mittens!
