Made up of blocks of 36 small mitred squares (36 block square measures 12” x 12”) with a knitted on border.

The blanket in the pattern is shown as 4 blocks by 2 blocks but could easily be made into a 9 square blanket of 3 blocks by 3 blocks.

Each block of 36 squares would also make a good size cushion cover
