Want to be stylish while walking the dog? Want to try out double knitting with a twist? Have you ever done a rib pattern in double knitting?
Great gift for the dog owner in your life. Or for yourself. Or for both of you.
Use two colors that have a good contrast against each other - about 140 m of each color is needed.
When substituting yarn, be sure to wash and block the swatch to see, if you like the fabric. Tides blooms very much after washing, so you might need a heavier weight yarn to achieve a similar fabric with different yarns.
I’d recommend woolen spun yarns for substituting as they behave similar and create the lofty airy fabric that can trap all the warmth you want.
Techniques required: Cast-on and bind-off, working in the round, following a color chart, double-knitting.
I offer my patterns for free. As I have a day job, I can only offer limited pattern support, but I will try to help.
If you love the pattern, you can buy me a coffee. All money given to me will be donated.
