This pattern was originally published as Knit Purl’s contribution to the 2015 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 5 – 8, 2015 in Portland, Oregon.

Each shop’s pattern(s) will be available free with purchase at that shop during the Rose City Yarn Crawl.

After the Crawl, all patterns will also be available for download individually or as part of our 2015 eBook: Postcards from Portland: 2015 Rose City Yarn Crawl Pattern Collection.

Our latest RCYC pattern, Canopy, is inspired by the terrace in nearby Director Park. The simple slip-stitch colorwork design mimics the crosshatching of the terrace canopy. Modern and colorful, this unisex hat pattern is designed for plush, luscious Woolfolk Tynd.
