Our latest RCYC pattern, Canopy, is inspired by the terrace in nearby Director Park. The simple slip-stitch colorwork design mimics the crosshatching of the terrace canopy. Modern and colorful, this unisex hat pattern is designed for plush, luscious Woolfolk Tynd.
Yarn:
Woolfolk’s Tynd, 219 yards/50 grams, 1 skein each colors A, B, & C
Finished Size:
Adult: 16” brim circumference (unstretched)
10.25” height
Needles:
US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needle
US 9 (5.5mm) 16” circular needle
US 9 (5.5mm) dpns
Gauge:
17.5 sts & 28 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles with yarn held double
