I designed this shawlette using 4 balls of Mini Mochi, but any other yarn with a color gradient will be suitable. You can choose any yarn weight you like, but remember that you might need more yarn when using anything thicker than fingering. You can also make a bigger shawlette by using as much yarn as you like.

The Canyonette is a modular knit, but there is no seaming involved as the modules are joined as you go. Needles to say that you won’t cut your thread and will only have to weave in loose ends when you join the next ball.

Usually I provide you with a written and a charted version, but in this case the secret lies in the construcion of the modules, while knitting the single elements doesn’t require a chart. You will find ample graphics to demonstrate the structure of the piece.

The Canyonette is a reversible knit. Although the front and the back look slightly different, they are both beautiful.
