Another of my own designs .

DESIGNERS NOTES:
I called it Cape Beanies after my long stay in Cape Town . The winter was extremely cold so I decided to design and knit some beanies for me . The beanies are knit flat with a back seam . One slim fit and the other slightly slouchy . I have also include a Messy Bun Pony Tail Beanie and a head band. The pattern is a cable like stitch , with a 6 row repeat .
MEASUREMENTS :
The beanies are unisex . Can fit any adult head .
My head circumference is 57 cm ( about 22 ½ ‘’ )
Others : 57 , 57 ½ + 58 cm ( 22 ½’’ – 22 ¾ ‘’ )

I used For Slim fit beanie : PAINTBOX YARNS SIMPLY DK = 60grams ( 165.6 meters / 181.1 yards ) , Colourway 103 Misty Grey
Also Lion Brand Mandala – Colourway 205 Pixie about 49 gm ( 177.9 meters /194.5 yards),
For Slouchy beanie : STYLECRAFT SPECIAL DK YARN = 100grams ( 294.0 meters / 321.5 yards ) , Colourway 1001 White
For Head Band : STYLECRAFT SPECIAL DK YARN = 42gm (123.5 meters /135.0 yards), Colourway Khaki
For Messy Bun Beanie : PAINTBOX YARNS SIMPLY DK = 60 gm ( 165.6 meters /181.1 yards) , Colourway Bubblegum pink .
Other supplies :

• Straight knitting needles size 3.75mm ( US 5 )
• Darning needle
• Row counter
• Additional : Stitch markers
