What does a mysterious, fancy lady-about-town wear with her cocktail dress during a cold-weather excursion? Surely not a parka. Knit yourself an incredibly luxurious cape for all those times you want to dress up and be cozy. Cape Vertigo also compliments jeans, skirts and boots, you name it-- a versatile piece for the cooler months.

The large gathered collar keeps the chill away from your neck (it’s like a built-in scarf) while the patterned cape surrounds you in swishy coziness. Very simple colorwork pattern, and a good beginner steeking project. Pure knitting pleasure!

Measurements: 20 (22.5)” neck, measured at collar fold, 58 (66)” at bust over arms, 26” length from back neck, should fit oversize.

The L/XL size has the same length as the S/M size but is fuller around the body. More length can be added as long as you have the yarn for it!

Yarn: Berroco Flicker. Shown in colors Odile 3312 (A) 8 (9) skeins, Violette 3339 (B) 4 (5) skeins.

Also shown in: Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed, Farmhouse Heather (A), 12 (15) skeins, and Thirst Heather (B) 6 (8) skeins.
