Description
Capulus Cardigan V-Neck is a classic and clean raglan cardigan with a loose fit, neat deep V-neck, clear raglan markings, sleeves that slightly narrow towards the wrist, big pockets, and double-knitted button plackets. The cardigan has a deep armhole which gives an excellent loose fit. The cardigan is knit top down, so you can easily adjust the length of the body and sleeves while knitting. The cardigan is supposed to be worn with approx. 5-20 cm of positive ease.

Depending on which look you prefer, you can choose many combinations for this cardigan. All the suggested varieties contain thin Silk Mohair: 125 (125) 150 (150) 175 g of Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive 225 m/25 g or No. 10 Silk Mohair from Önling 210 m/25 g or Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn 212 m/25 g or Silk Mohair from Smuksak 212 m/ 25 g or similar quality.

  • For a chunky, dense, and slightly heavy look, combine with 400 (450) 550 (600) 600 g Heavy Merino from Knitting for Olive 125 m/ 50 g – one strand.
  • For a luxurious, exclusive, and soft look, combine with 300 (300) 300 (400) 400 g Alpaca with Silk and Cashmere from Uld La La 400 m/ 100 g – 1 strand.
  • For a classic wooly cardigan, combine with 300 (300) 300 (400) 400 g Dansk Pelsuld 8/2 from Hjelholts uldspinderi 400 m/ 100 g – 1 strand.
  • For a very soft and light cardigan, combine with 150 (150) 175 (175) 200 g Tibet from Cewec 190 m/ 25 g, 1 strand.
  • For a very soft and puffy cardigan, combine with 300 (300) 300 (400) 400 g of Baby Alpaca 100 % from Smuksak 200 m/ 25 g or Alpaca 1 from Isager Yarn 400 m/50 g or Babyalpaka lace from Kremke soul wool 400 m/50 g, 2 strands.
  • For a wooly, puffy, and chunky cardigan, combine with 300 (300) 400 (400) 400 g NO. 4 from G-uld 650 m/ 100 g, 2 strands.
  • For a light cardigan combine with 250 (250) 300 (300) 350 g Silk Mohair – two threads. (Read about companies above). Or you can choose any other yarn if you obtain the correct gauge.

The model has a burst circumstance of 82 cm and the pictured cardigan is a size XS. It is knitted up using one strand of Heavy Merino in color Camel held together with one strand of Soft Silk Mohair in color Brown Nougat. Both are qualities from Knitting for Olive.

The cardigan is knit in Stockinette stitch back and forth on a needle size 4.5 mm (80 cm). The ribbed hems and the button plackets are knit on circular needle size 3.5 mm (80 cm).
