The hat and cowl are worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. The corrugated rib edgings are worked on smaller circular needles, with the stranded colorwork portion worked on larger circular needles.

Materials:
NOTE Both the hat and cowl need one hank of each color, however if both the hat and cowl are to be knit, 1 hank of Color A and 2 hanks of Color B are needed.
• 1 Hank Malabrigo Rios (3.5 oz/100 g ea approx. 210 yds/192 m, 100% superwash merino wool) in #412 Teal Feather (Color A, 125 yds/114 m used for hat, 165 yds/151 m used for cowl, 290 yds/265 m total used for both)
• 2 Hanks Malabrigo Rios (3.5 oz/100 g ea approx. 210 yds/192 m, 100% superwash merino wool) in #708 Cucumber (Color B, 45 yds/41 m used for hat, 150 yds/137 m used for cowl, 195 yds/178 m total used for both)
