Cardinal Tee
DESCRIPTION
The Cardinal Tee is constructed using a variety of
techniques.
The back is worked sideways. This section begins on the
right side of the body. Increases and decreases then
form the right shoulder, the neck, and the left shoulder.
The stitches are finally bound off on the left side of the
body.
The front of the tee follows the traditional dropped shoulder
construction. Stitches are picked up at the left
shoulder, and the left front is worked up to the neckline.
The same steps are repeated for the right shoulder and
right front. The two sides are then joined at the center
to complete the body.
The front and back pieces are sewn together at the
sides. Finally, the sleeves, neckline, and hem are worked
in the round.
