This is a simple crocheted beret using Malabrigo Sock, doubled. One hank will squeeze out the entire hat. Substitutions can be made, just make sure, as always, to check your gauge (15 dc = 4 inches).
The instructions are written line by line. Should you reach the end of a round and have less stitches than the round specifies, just finish the round and start the next. Any slight discrepancies in count will add to the slouchy effect of the beret, and it will all even out in the decrease rounds.
I in no way endorse Billy Ocean’s music — just the beautiful color of Malabrigo’s Caribeno colorway.
