Carissa is a beautifal warm cardigan for autumn and winter days. It is worked from button up in single pieces.

Eyecatchers are the set in pockets, the long V-neck and the simple but impressive slip stitch pattern. You work with 3 colors, but you will never have to work with more than one color at the time.

Bust circumference of finished cardigan:
36 (39, 42, 45, 48, 52) inches
92 (100, 108, 116, 124, 132) cm
This cardigan is intended to fit with about 4 - 5 inches 10-12 cm of positive ease at bust. Shown in size S with 4” 10 cm positive ease at bust.

Materials:
I used the Locoporella Merino Singles (yardage 399 yds/100 g):
2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins in main color (MC) - here: “Umbra”
2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3) skeins in contrasting color 1 (CC1) - here: “Taupe”
2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3) skeins in contrasting color 2 (CC2) - here: “Sandstein”
You can use any fingering yarn with the same yardage that fits to gauge.

Gauge:
28 sts and 48 rows = 4” 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch, with smaller needles
