Carlton is a cuddly tiger with soft claws, perfect for hugs! Knitted in stockinette and stripes, this tiger is worked in acrylic yarns so it is easier to keep clean after play. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the tiger is knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons to decorate, and a stitch holder.

SIZES
One size only - 27cm tall measured from toes to top of ears.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
