CARMELLIA
Carmellia is a triangular lace shawl with a slight crescent shape. The shawl is worked top-down. The first part of the shawl is a stockinette body, that continues with a lace pattern with drops and diamonds that resembles the leaves of the tea plant. The pattern is adapted for the yarn from the Swedish company Ullcentrum, but also works well with any sport weight yarn (approximately 300-350 m/100g).

GENERAL
The shawl is adapted for two different sizes, one large shawl (green) that you can curl up inside, and one smaller shawl (white) that will fit well around the shoulders but is smaller for those who prefer it that way.

GAUGE
The gauge on this shawl is not important, if you want an even larger shawl it would be worth going up a needle size or using a thicker yarn. Remember that a different yarn/needle might change the yarn usage as well.

MATERIAL
Ullcentrum 2-ply, 100g skeins (sport weight, 300-350 m/100g)
Large shawl: <300 g/approx 800 m Colorway: Grass green on medium grey (sample shawl used 212 g)
Small shawl: <200 g/approx 550 m Colorway: White (sample shawl used 130 g)
