The Front and Back of this pullover are worked separately, back and forth, from the bottom up. After the shoulders are sewn together, Sleeve stitches are picked up from the armhole opening and worked, back and forth, top-down, incorporating a thumb slit. The neckband is picked up and
worked in the round. The pullover is intended to be worn with 3-4” of positive ease.

Yarn:
5 (6, 7, 7, 8) hanks The Fibre Co. Cumbria Worsted
(238 yd / 218 m per 3 ½ oz /100 g hank; 60% Merino Wool / 30% Brown Masham Wool / 10% Mohair).
The sample is in #44 Appleby Castle.

Needles:
Size 7 US / 4.5 mm needles, circular or straight for body
Size 7 US / 4.5 mm circular needle, 16” /40 cm long for neck. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain
