I got the inspiration for this pattern when my friend gifted me a skein of hot cakes when my youngest son was born. What I loved about the yarn was that you only needed a single skein for a blanket. Unfortunately I never found a pattern for a blanket other then simple a simple stockinet so I decided to create my own.

The Carnival Baby Blanket is a fun textured pattern that can be worked with a single skein of Plymouth Yarn Hot Cakes or any worsted weight yarn with 404 yards. The blanket is worked in the round from the center out. It’s an easy pattern for mindless knitting and fast beautiful results.

I will also be adding a adult version to the pattern to be released on a latter date. So you will eventually be getting 2 patterns.
