Gauge:
4 Ch-5 spaces and 8 rows/rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Shell Mesh pattern, measured flat. To save time, take time to check gauge.

Note: The mesh nature of this fabric makes gauge a bit tricky to measure. If your stitch gauge is a bit wide and your row gauge a bit short, try rearranging your gauge swatch to lengthen (and narrow) the gauge. As the sweater hangs, it will become longer and narrower, as well.
