This stole was knit for my former MIL who was living in Arizona, so didn’t need a warm wool shawl. This is a “sampler” type stole, that is, it uses many different patterns in horizontal rows. This pattern is suitable for a beginning intermediate knitter.

Since I lost the negative for this picture and I don’t have access to the shawl any longer this pattern will only be offered in .pdf format.

Yarn: 4 skeins of Socka Cotton, or 880 meters of fingering weight wool

Gauge: 5 stitches per inch
