Short V-neck cardigan with Mosaic, Garter and Brioche, knit
from the top down.

CONSTRUCTION
The cardigan is knit from the top down, starting
with the back shoulders. The back shoulders are
knit in garter stitch and shaped with short rows.
When the back yoke is complete the pattern
stitches begin and the piece is worked to the
underarm. The Right and Left Fronts are picked up
along the cast on edge of the Back shoulders, then
knit downward with V-neck shaping shown on the
charts. When the Fronts are worked to the
underarm, the Fronts and Back are joined in one
piece and worked downward to the hem. Sleeves
are picked up at each armhole and worked back
and forth to keep pattern stitch consistent with the
body. Sleeves are worked straight to the cuff.
Suggested shaping for tapered sleeves is included.
