The poncho can also be used with bigger kids – or without kids.

Pattern notes:
The carrier poncho is knitted in the round on a circular needle from the top down.
As you go, you’ll cast off stitches for a slit down the middle, they will be added again by casting on in the middle later.

Materials:

  • 10 100g skeins Woolpower no. 10
  • Circular needle size 8 (5 mm), 32 + 47 in (80 + 120 cm)
  • Stitch markers

Gauge:
18 stitches to 4 in (10 cm)
24 rows to 4 in (10 cm)

Measurements:
26 inch (65 cm) measured from neckline to bottom edge
