Please keep in mind embellishments on your furnishing MUST be age appropriate.
Hook; 4.0 mm
Yarn; 4 ply, 6 oz., 300 yards/275 meters (yarn Bee Soft Secret/
I Love This Yarn- Hobby Lobby), (2) light brown -
Cognac, (2) dark brown - Cocoa, (1) floor – rust (your
choice) – top side/ browns for under side, (1) roof -
variegated – Beret Day (Your choice), scraps
for /details/furnishings (appr. 1 skein)
Supplies; Plastic canvas; 2 sheets 13 9/16 in. x 22 9/16 in. 5 Mesh
– (4 sheets if using double strength for supporting
panels) – See TEMPLATES for sizes - Keep scraps for
furnishing
Plastic Canvas used is Hobby Lobby yarnology 5 Mesh
template measurements are used as a guide -
For added support use 2 pieces of plastic canvas per
panel or follow assembly instructions for 16-gauge wire
taped around the outside edges of plastic canvas with first
aide tape or heavy-duty clear shipping tape -
First aide tape or heavy-duty clear shipping tape for edges
of plastic canvas and securing wire for support
16 Gauge wire for support of panels (approximately 7 ½
yards / 270”)
(3) buttons for wall/roof closure (1 large center above
door, 2 small – 1 either side of door – lights)
Brush (to comb out yarn for fire in fire place)
Scissors
Yarn needle (to sew pieces in place)
Sewing needle and thread for making furnishings
Batting/cotton balls for chimney smoke and to stuff pillows
Scrap yarn for fire place logs – can brush out yarn scraps
for fire place flames
